What Are Resolvers?
Resolvers are rotary electrical transformers used to provide angular position and speed feedback in electromechanical systems. They are commonly used in motor control applications where accurate position feedback and stable signal transmission are required. Unlike some other sensing devices, resolvers operate based on electromagnetic induction and are designed to deliver reliable performance in demanding environments.
One of the main advantages of resolvers is their robust structure and long service life. They can maintain stable operation under conditions involving vibration, shock, temperature variation, moisture, dust, and electrical noise. Because of these characteristics, resolvers are widely used in servo motors, aerospace equipment, industrial machinery, defense-related equipment, and other applications where durability, environmental resistance, and operational reliability are important.
