Neodymium deep pot magnets are a type of Neodymium pot magnet where Neodymium disc magnets are embedded in a durable steel casing. The high permeability steel casing guides the magnetic flux lines downward toward the holding surface, creating a particularly strong magnetic force at the point of contact with ferromagnetic counterparts. However, if there is no direct contact with the counterpart, or if the counterpart is thin, painted, or rough, the magnet’s holding power may be reduced. This design also protects the brittle Neodymium magnet from cracking or chipping under repeated mechanical shocks.
Neodymium deep pot magnets are designed with a central threaded hole in the non-magnetic surface for fixing. These magnets can be pressed in, glued in or securely fastened with a threaded pin. They have unlimited applications such as mechanical engineering, warehousing or workshops. Ideal for incorporating into jigs and fixtures.
