Neodymium channel magnets are a type of Neodymium pot magnet where Neodymium rectangular magnets are embedded in a U-shaped steel channel. These magnets are also known as rectangular pot magnets or U-channel magnets. The steel shell directs the magnetic flux lines downward toward the holding surface, creating a particularly strong magnetic force at the point of contact with ferromagnetic counterparts. This design also helps protect the brittle Neodymium magnet from cracking or chipping under repeated mechanical shocks.
Neodymium channel magnets are easily installed using a correctly sized countersunk screw, allowing them to be securely mounted on suitable surfaces. Additionally, they can be easily set into grooves. This feature is why Neodymium channel magnets are also known as screw-on pot magnets, along with circular Neodymium pot magnets with countersunk holes. They are ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications, particularly in industrial and consumer mounting, holding, and fixing applications.
