What Are Neodymium Pot Magnets?
Neodymium pot magnets are magnetic holding assemblies that combine sintered Neodymium (NdFeB) magnets with steel cups, housings, threaded studs, threaded sockets, or other mounting fittings.
Most designs use axially magnetized disc magnets, ring magnets, or countersunk magnets inside a steel casing, leaving one active magnetic face for attachment to ferromagnetic surfaces.
The steel casing helps concentrate magnetic flux toward the working face and also provides mechanical support around the brittle Neodymium magnet.
This structure allows the pot magnet to generate stronger holding force on the contact side while reducing the risk of direct impact damage to the magnet body.
